The car's connector and onboard charger set the ceiling. More amperage at the wall does not make every vehicle charge faster.

We look at panel condition, available capacity, existing loads, and the circuit size that makes sense for how you actually drive.

Distance, finished spaces, detached garages, exterior exposure, and the cleanest path all shape the installation plan.

Could load management help avoid a service upgrade?

Sometimes. Dynamic load management can be a smart option, but only after we assess the service, panel, loads, desired charging rate, compatible equipment, and installation conditions.

Before you plug in.

Every home and EV combination is different. These are the useful starting points; the on-site assessment turns them into a plan.

Do I need to buy a charger before the appointment?

No. If you already own one, share the exact model. If you are still deciding, we can compare connector, output, enclosure, cable, app, and load-management needs against your vehicle and home.

Will I need an electrical service or panel upgrade?

Not always. We need to assess the service, panel, existing loads, desired charging rate, and equipment. Dynamic load management may help avoid an upgrade in some homes, but only after that assessment.

How fast will my EV charge at home?

Actual power depends on the vehicle's onboard charging limit, the charging station, circuit size, and available electrical capacity. We size the plan around the useful charging rate—not simply the largest advertised number.

Can you route a circuit through a finished basement?

Often, yes. Finished ceilings and walls affect the route, access, repair risk, and labor. The form asks about finished spaces and distance so we can arrive ready to evaluate a clean path.

What if the garage is detached or the charger is outdoors?

Detached garages, driveways, carports, and exterior walls can all be workable. Conduit, trenching, structure, distance, exposure, and equipment enclosure rating become important parts of the plan.

Can you install a charger for a future EV?

Yes. We can plan around the vehicle you expect to buy, likely connector, daily driving, parking location, and future flexibility, then explain what should be installed now versus left ready for later.
